Against the background of the deep implementation of the “Dual Carbon” strategy, the accelerated transformation of the energy structure, and the pursuit of self-reliance in high-end equipment, turbomachinery, as core equipment in the energy and power sector, is facing a critical opportunity for technological innovation and industrial upgrading. The deep integration of traditional and new energy sources has placed higher requirements on the customized design and diversified applications of turbomachinery to adapt to multiple scenarios and systems. Turbomachinery technologies are also rapidly developing toward high efficiency, low carbon, digital intelligence, coupled design optimization, and high-end manufacturing. As an important strategic base in China, Xinjiang boasts abundant energy resources, accelerated industrial development and upgrading, and unique geographical advantages for equipment export. It has strong demand and broad application space for high-end turbomachinery. Therefore, the 2026 grand event for the turbomachinery industry will be held in Xinjiang, focusing on academic innovation and industrial opportunities, to build a high-end platform for global academic exchange and industrial cooperation in turbomachinery.
